Pamela produces healthy local vegetables to feed her family and sells surplus
Pamela Atieno, aged 46, is a member of Emmanuel Chemelil FFS, Maseno East Diocese. She has 0.5 acres of land on which she grows maize, millet, sweet potato and vegetables. She has planted 30 trees and uses ditches to control soil erosion. After FFS training, her maize yield from a quarter acre has increased from 0.5 bags to 2 bags as a result of proper spacing and use of compost manure and soil conservation measures on her plot
Pamela produces healthy local vegetables to feed her family and sells surplus at the nearby Kibigori open-air market. She has shared the knowledge she learnt at FFS with 4 neighbours. Kingdom Life has taught her to depend on God.
