Local Churches

The local church is the heart of the farmers field school.  It is where the members meet to learn, pray, support one another and take part in the Kingdom Life course.

The local church provides the land for the field school demo plot.  At least 50% of food produced on the demo plot is used to help the widows and orphans in the parish.

The choir here is celebrating at a fundraising event for a church running a farm school. During this event, a lady from the church brought one chicken as an offering to be auctioned off for food to raise money for a new church building. Neighbouring field school farmers heard about her great generosity (she was known to have very little) and the following day, the farmers gave her three chickens, inspired by her generosity!
